Laura is still known by her law school classmates for having a baby on spring break of her first year. Her life has been filled with children. She and her husband have seven between them. For over 20 years she has balanced her clients’ competing needs for saavy assistance in their complex financial matters with important decisions regarding their children.
After many years of working in Hillsboro, Laura’s firm grew and moved to Beaverton near Bethany. She still works with many clients from the high tech community.Laura enjoys creating a team to stand beside each of her clients to make sure that creative solutions are explored for each unique issue that arises. She can draw on her years of experience to problem solve difficult situations. Whether it’s figuring out ways to keep the family business intact, dividing up farm property, or understanding division of unvested RSUs and other unusual assets, Laura knows the business side of family law.
When not at work, Laura can be found at the gym getting pushed to the limit by her personal trainer or playing with her grandkids. Laura is an Oregon Duck football fan, but with one platypus in the family, she also roots for OSU. She loves to travel. Recent trips have been to Bermuda, Peru, Alaska, Bahamas and Key West.
